The series was presented on the occasion of the feast of the San Martino district in Trento, dedicated to the Pied Piper, a cartoon in which the protagonists are mice. In this case the mice, instead of invading the city of Hameln, invade Venice, the city of the artist. The dimension of nightmare, of anguish, of fantasy in its most disturbing component is easily perceived by looking at the image, which recalls an uncertain world, where chaos reigns supreme.
