Karlien de Villiers' work "What Are Little Girls Made Of" analyses the path of women's emancipation and the struggles for women's rights, through the most revolutionary moments in history when women are mother and warrior. The contemporary woman presents herself as a surrogate of a proud and strong revolutionary spirit, which has led her, thanks to the struggle of previous generations, to gain social independence.
