Melissa Brown’s still lifes are as clear and simple as they are enigmatic, featuring various elements that suggest a metaphysical sphere, initially challenging to understand. The subject and context are recognizable, she is American but fascinated by Italy, particularly Trento, where she recently visited. There, she encountered different elements and flowers that captivated her; upon returning home, she continued to depict them in her works. So, her art blends American and Italian influences, serving as a tribute to the city of Trento.
