Cellar Contemporary gets invaded by Bruno Fantelli with ungainly, out of place creatures that redefine the post-pandemic human environment. BOOMing Contemporary Art Show, the Bologna art fair for "emerging artists in a state of emergency", is preparing to return, with many new features, during the eleventh edition of ART CITY Bologna and Arte Fiera, from 2nd to 5th of February.
The shapes painted by Federico Lanaro create a fairy-like imaginary in which natural landscapes and neon-colored animals recall past experiences through direct forms. Lanaro’s works will be on exhibition at the restaurant Senso in Rovereto until January 2023.
The initiative - reads a note - developed in collaboration with Cellar Contemporary, an art gallery that promotes young contemporary visual art, represents a unique experiment of its kind to celebrate the debut in the NFT world of the well-known Milanese artist for his "monsters" and for his innovative style but always based on technical, stylistic and communicative purism.
This new fall-season at Cellar Contemporary opens with the collective exhibition "Untitled-An Insight on US paper" and continues with the solo exhibition of the young Italian artist Bruno Fantelli entitled "Balzo di Specie".
The fair had some success in terms of proposals, audience and sales, especially in the more affordable range. «Pretty good» commented Camilla Nacci, representing the galleries Cellar Contemporary and Studio Raffaelli of Trento : «Sales were mainly in the range between one thousand and 5 thousand euros, difficult to conclude for higher figures: Bruno Fantelli, finalist for the Cairo Award, did very well, while the 80s Americans did well for Studio Raffaelli".
