"Denis Riva indaga sulla percezione del tempo innescata dal contatto tra l'uomo e la natura."
Denis Riva, named Deriva, is born in Ganzamonio in 1979.
He is an illustrator, a painter, a gatherer, an observer, a reseracher, a technician, an experimenter, but not an actor.
He doesn't take part at ceremonies. He doesn't have a Bachelor of fine arts. He is living daily under the wieght of art that he carries on with him.
He often uses the word “Master”, although he doesn't have any.
He's not a University professor.
He is dating two dogs everyday.
Notwithstanding all the works done the last years, he's convinced to be at the beginning of his research, but also to be at the end.
In 2017 he turned twenty years of shows.
Denis Riva lives and works at Follina, a fairy-tale Borgo of Treviso, in a studio which was part of Lanificio Paoletti, a historical wool factory founded in 1795.
