Solomostry transports us into his imagination, a descent towards his ancestors, faces that look at us from the past, as if they were family portraits found in the halls of abandoned houses. They observe us from the past aware of what they have experienced, and they walk us towards our future, immortalized in time. Static and clean faces, but at the same time impacting, they are opposed to groups in movement, their characteristics melt and wrap us as if they were in a dance that surrounds us, envelops us and accompanies us. The ceramics refer to the Attic ones, but in a modern way. The aim will be to allow our posterity to understand and acknowledge the aspects of our society, a chaotic society that revolves around itself, just as the faces and engravings recorded by the artist revolve around the vase. Dishes can be a synonym of abundance, as well as of famine, they are born empty and we attempt to fill them, we gather around them craving for a convivial that, especially in this very last period, has been taken away from us.
